Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of PDCA cycle management for enhancing the 24-hour repair rate of the hemodialysis machine.Methods PDCA cycle management was used to develop a scheme for enhancing the 24-hour repair rate of the hemodialysis machine based on the improvement priorities,and evaluation was carried out after the scheme was implemented.The operating data of the hemodialysis machine before the implementation of the PDCA cycle management from October to December 2022 were enrolled into a control group,and those after the implementation of the PDCA cycle management from October to December 2023 were included into an experimental group.The two groups were compared in terms of 24-hour repair rate,mean time to repair,incidence of adverse events,mean waiting time of patients due to failures,exchange rate after failures,engineer's professional competence score,medical staff satisfaction and patient satisfaction.Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS 22.0.Results The experimental group had a higher 24-hour repair rate(91.58%)than the control group(67.88%),which gained lower values in mean time to repair,incidence of adverse events,mean waiting time of patients due to failures and exchange rate after failures while higher values in engineer's professional competence score,medical staff satisfaction and patient satisfaction,with the differences being statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion PDCA cycle management effectively enhances the 24-hour repair rate and fine management of the hemodialysis machine.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2026,47(4):87-92]关键词
