摘要

Abstract

Objective To design a nebulizer connection assembly compatible with devices of various specifications to enable rapid and stable nebulization therapy.Methods The nebulizer connection assembly for ventilators primarily consisted of a three-way connector,a first sleeve and a second sleeve.The three-way connector included a first port,a second port and a third port;the first sleeve comprised a first tube section and a second tube section,designed to adapt to the outlet ports of nebulizers and ventilator tubing of various specifications;the second sleeve was connected to the three-way connector at one end and to an artificial airway or non-invasive mask at the other end.Results The connection assembly realized rapid connection of the nebulizer to the ventilator in both invasive and non-invasive ventilation modes,which avoided the modification and damage to the original tubing and reduced the frequency of nebulizer replacement when switching ventilation modes,thereby lowering treatment costs.Conclusion The connection assembly gains high adaptability and easy operation and high clinical practicability.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2026,47(4):114-117]
