Abstract
Focuses on the dietary therapy applications of wolfberry(Lycium barbarum L.)as recorded in Principles of Correct Diets,to explore the edible system of wolfberry during that historical period.As a classic dietary therapy text from the Yuan Dynasty,Principles of Correct Diets provides detailed records of distinctive wolfberry consumption methods,including its use alone and its incorporation into other materia medica or ingredients to prepare teas,wines,porridges,and decoctions.Wolfberry products processed into medicated wines or decoctions exhibit more pronounced medicinal effects,while tea preparations are primarily intended for daily consumption.Furthermore,the study high-lights the multidimensional value of wolfberry during the Yuan Dynasty in terms of resource utilization,technological innovation,dosage form development,and cross-cultural circulation,providing historical references for the inheritance and innovation of the traditional culture of"food and medicine homology".关键词
