Visual Analysis of Clinical Application of Enteral Nutrition Based on Web of Science Database and Evidence-based Medicine Perspective

Abstract
Objective To analyze the research hotspots,research trends and cooperation status among national institutions of randomized controlled trials of enteral nutrition based on Web of Science database and evidence-based medicine,so as to provide reference for clinical application and evidence-based of enteral nutrition in China in the future.Methods Relevant literatures on randomized controlled trials of enteral nutrition from January 1,1998 to December 31,2023 in the Web of Science core collection database were searched.CiteSpace 6.1.R3 and R(version 4.3.3)software were used to visually analyze the keywords,authors,countries and institutions included in the literature.Results A total of 1283 literatures were included,and the number of published literatures showed local fluctuation but overall increasing trend.Among the 6787 authors,70 papers were published by 3 core authors,accounting for 5.46%(70/1283)of all literatures.In the ranking of national scientific research contributions,the United States ranked first,and China ranked third.Among the 4962 institutions,the top 10 institutions published a total of 237 literatures,accounting for 18.47%of the total,and the University of Toronto ranked first.Among the 1283 literatures,a total of 2264 keywords appeared.At present,the research hotspots mainly focused on acute and critical diseases,infants and gastrointestinal motility,while future research would focus more on feeding tolerance,clinical outcomes and quality of life.The main diseases of clinical application of enteral nutrition included critical illness,acute pancreatitis,necrotizing enterocolitis,gastric cancer and Crohn's disease.With the deepening and evolution of research,the research hotspots of feeding tolerance,infants and clinical outcomes would continue to receive attention.Conclusion Since 1998,the clinical application of enteral nutrition has made remarkable progress in both theory and practice.However,how to carry out large-scale and multi-center research more rigorously is still an urgent problem to be solved,and it is also the direction of future research.关键词
