摘要
Abstract
Atypical porcine pestivirus(APPV),a member of genus Pestivirus firstly discovered in 2015,was responsible for congenital A-II type tremors in piglets, and had been prevalent in several countries, posing a serious threat to pig industry. But its prevention and control were challenged due to its high genetic variability and significant strain differences.Currently, its E2 gene served as the primary basis for typing, codon usage preferences were primarily driven by natural selection, and its pathogenic mechanisms and invasion pathways differed from those of other pestiviruses. The molecular detection techniques for APPV were well developed, but serological assays were still under development, and no commercial kits were available. The E2 protein could be used as a major target for neutralizing antibodies and a key area for vaccine development, making it an ideal candidate for the development of genetically engineered subunit vaccines, although there was no commercial vaccine.Domestic and international advances in APPV typing, genetic variation characteristics, detection methods and vaccine development were reviewed and analyzed, aiming to guide researches on its genetic evolution, prevention and control, and vaccine development.关键词
