Practical Paths for Green and Low-Carbon Transition in Ethnic Regions
摘要
Abstract
From the perspective of energy consumption,this paper analyzes the progress,opportunities and challenges of the green and low-carbon transition in ethnic regions,and proposes targeted practical paths to boost such transition.The study finds that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,energy consumption in ethnic regions has continued to rise,while the decline in energy consumption intensity has narrowed continuously,the process of non-fossil energy substitution has lagged behind that of the national average level,and the high-carbon characteristics of economic growth have not been completely eliminated.The new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation has brought new opportunities for green technological innovation and industrial development in ethnic regions,as well as chances to build industrial advantages by leveraging resource advantages.However,the challenges of lagged energy transition and insufficient development space for low-carbon industries have become more severe.Therefore,efforts should be made to boost the green and low-carbon transition in ethnic regions from the following five aspects:first,accelerate the energy structure transition and deepen the development and utilization of renewable energy;second,strengthen efficient energy utilization and reshape green production and consumption patterns;third,accelerate green technological innovation to lead the green and low-carbon transition;fourth,promote the realization of ecological product values and diversify low-carbon economic growth approaches;fifth,facilitate in-depth industrial integration and expand the space for economic structural transformation.关键词
