Summary of the best evidence for prevention and control of Candida auris infection in patients in adult intensive care unit

Abstract
Objective To retrieve,analyze,and integrate the best evidence for the prevention and control of Candida auris(C.auris)infection in patients in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods Based on the"6S"evidence pyramid model,evidences relevant to the prevention and control of C.auris infection in adult ICU patients were systematically retrieved from World Health Organization(WHO),UpToDate,National Guideline Clearinghouse(NGC),Registered Nurses'Association of Ontario(RNAO),Public Health England(PHE),U.S.Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,VIP Database,Chinese Medical Journal Network,PubMed,SinoMed,Embase,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Cochrane Library,Web of Science,Wanfang Data,and Medlive.cn.Original research,systematic review,guidelines,expert consensus,clinical decision-making,and evidence summary were included for analysis.Two researchers independently conducted literature quality evaluation,evidence extraction,and integration.Results A total of 20 literatures were included in analysis,including 6 diagnostic studies,4 expert consensus,4 clinical practice guidelines,2 computer decision-support,2 systematic reviews,1 quasi-experimental study,and 1 basic study.A total of 11 categories and 31 pieces of evidence summary were integrated.Conclusion This study summarizes the comprehensive strategies for the prevention and control of C.auris infection in adult ICU patients,providing a reference for clinical medical institutions to implement relevant prevention and control measures.关键词
