Epidemiological investigation and intervention of lower respiratory tract infection caused by Burkholderia cepacia in intensive care unit
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate a suspected outbreak of Burkholderia cepacia(BC)-caused healthcare-asso-ciated infection(HAI)in lower respiratory tract of patients in intensive care unit(ICU),explore BC prevention and control strategies,and provide scientific evidence for effective prevention and control of HAI caused by BC.Methods occurred.Conclusion This incident highlights the need for medical institutions to strictly adhere to relevant stan-dards in the procurement,use,and management of medical supplies,enhance quality control and monitoring,and strengthen healthcare workers'awareness on infection prevention and control as well as operational protocols,which are vital to prevent and control such HAI outbreak.关键词
