摘要

Abstract

Poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB)was synthesized via acetalization of poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)with n-butyralde-hyde.Subsequently,2-aminobenzophenone as an UV absorber was covalently grafted onto the PVB backbone using isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI)as a coupling agent,yielding a functionalized film designated as PVB-IPDI-UV.The modified film was comprehensively characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,differential scanning calo-rimetry,thermogravimetric analysis,water contact angle measurement,180 ° peel strength testing,tensile testing,and ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)spectroscopy.Results show that PVB-IPDI-UV exhibits a glass transition temperature of 23.84℃and a 5%weight loss temperature of 365 ℃,indicating good thermal stability.The water contact angle reaches 94.6 °,demonstrating enhanced surface hydrophobicity.The film displays exceptional UV-shielding perfor-mance:it absorbs 100%of UVC(100~280 nm)and UVB(280~315 nm)radiation,and 87.5%of UVA(315~400 nm).After accelerated UV aging,the tensile strength retention is high,with only a 3.49%reduction,confirming outstanding resistance to UV-induced degradation.These findings collectively indicate that PVB-IPDI-UV possesses ex-cellent thermal stability.
