农村非亲代养育儿童语言发育迟缓检出率及相关因素研究
Nonparental caregiving and language developmental delays in rural children
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To determine prevalence of language development delays among rural children under nonparental caregiving,and to examine mediating role of parent-child interaction and screen exposure between non-parental caregiving and language delays.Methods:A total of 4 454 children aged 12 to 36 months were recruited through cluster sampling in rural areas.The Denver development screen test(DDST),Gesell development schedules(GDS),and Children's Language Assessment Scale(CLAS-TP)were used to assess intellectual development,de-velopmental quotient,and language development,respectively.The data were analyzed using multifactorial logistic regression and structural equation modeling.Results:The prevalence of language developmental delays among chil-dren aged 12 to 36 months was 7.05%(314 out of 4 454).After controlling for covariates,non-parental caregiving(OR=1.95,P＜0.001),short parent-child interaction time(OR=1.79,P＜0.001)and long screen exposure time(OR=2.04,P＜0.001)were the risk factors for children's language developmental delays.Both parent-child inter-action and screen exposure partially mediated the relationship between non-parental caregiving and language devel-opmental delays,and the direct effect of nonparental caregiving on children's language delays accounted for 58.3%of the total effect,and the indirect effects of parent-child interaction and screen exposure time accounted for 23.9%and 17.8%of the total effect.Conclusion:Nonparental caregiving in rural areas increases the risk of language de-lays by reducing parent-child interaction and increasing screen exposure.关键词
