Advances in nonpharmacologic interventions for preterm infants predisposed to the development of visual function abnormalities
摘要
Abstract
Abnormal visual function in preterm infants is a medical issue of multidisciplinary concern.Due to immature physiological and neurological development at birth,preterm infants are more prone to problems such as difficul-ties in tracking and gaze,nystagmus,refractive errors,and impaired contrast sensitivity compared with term infants.Non-pharmacological interventions are highly safe and have been proven to promote visual development and improve visual func-tion to a certain extent.This article reviews the theoretical mechanisms,methods,and effects of non-pharmacological visual interventions for preterm infants,and puts forward relevant suggestions,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical implementation of targeted,scientific and reasonable early interventions for preterm infants predisposed to abnormal visual function.关键词
