Advantages,ethical issues,and countermeasure suggestions for online sales of prescription drugs

Abstract
Systematically exploring the advantages,ethical issues,and countermeasure suggestions for online sales of prescription drugs is of great significance for their scientific and standardized management.Recently,the in-depth integration of mobile Internet and online sales of prescription drugs has enabled online sales of prescription drugs to develop rapidly as an emerging business model.While the online sales of prescription drugs have been highly popular among the public due to their unique advantages,such as the efficiency advantage of"seamless integration",the purchasing advantage of"breaking time and space constraints",and the price advantage of"reducing costs and increasing efficiency",they are simultaneously prone to ethical issues.These issues include patient privacy leakage,difficulties in risk accountability,and physicians'violations in diagnosis and treatment,often stemming from inadequate online oversight,infringements on patient rights,and lagging institutional management.To avoid these problems,measures such as improving the ethical review system,clarifying legal liability entities,and establishing a coordinated governance framework must be implemented collaboratively to foster a healthy development environment for the online sales of prescription drugs.关键词
