Technical breakthroughs and surgical practice in laparoscopic radical gastrectomy

Abstract
The widespread application of laparoscopic gastrectomy(LG)marks a paradigm shift in gastric oncologic surgery,transitioning from merely minimizing incisional trauma to the precise reconstruction of anatomical spaces.Supported by robust evidence from multiple high-quality,multicenter randomized controlled trials(RCTs),the oncological equivalence and long-term survival non-inferiority of LG for both early and locally advanced gastric cancer have been firmly established.Consequently,it has secured its position as a standard of care in high-incidence regions such as East Asia.Grounded in the mapping relationship between tumor biological behavior and local fascial anatomy,this review systematically outlines the core advancements of LG across several dimensions:the clinical practice of membrane anatomy concepts,full-cycle surgical quality control,and the iterative evolution of cutting-edge minimally invasive platforms.The evolution of modern minimally invasive gastric cancer surgery has transcended the mere physical extension of surgical instruments.Its core philosophy lies in deeply integrating precise dissection along fusion fascial planes and systemic trauma control with strict oncological curative standards(R0 resection and standardized D2 lymphadenectomy),ultimately aiming to achieve the dual benefits of maximized long-term survival and optimal organ function preservation for patients.关键词
