Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle(QCC)activities on improving the collection and upload rate of drug traceability codes in outpatient and emergency departments.Methods A QCC team was established consisting of 10 pharmacists from the outpatient and emergency pharmacy of the hospital.The theme was designated as"Improving the Collection and Upload Rate of Drug Traceability Codes in Outpatient and Emergency Departments".Members of the QCC team carried out activities according to the prescribed steps,set target values(71.39%),identified the root causes through fishbone diagrams and Pareto charts,implemented multi-dimensional improvement measures,and the improvements were inspected.Results The collection and upload rate of drug traceability codes in outpatient and emergency departments in the hospital increased from 40.78% before implementation to 73.52% after implementation,with an improvement rate of 80.28% and a target achievement rate of 106.96%.Furthermore,there were statistically significant differences between before and after implementation(χ2=23.48,P<0.001).All QCC team members'team spirit,communication and cooperation,enthusiasm,thinking ability,application of QCC techniques,and problem-solving abilities significantly improved.Conclusion By conducting QCC activities,the collection and upload rate of drug traceability codes in outpatient and emergency departments in hospital can be effectively improved,actively promoting the full-scale application of drug traceability code collection,and providing reference for the management of information collection of drug traceability code in outpatient and emergency departments.关键词
