荣昌猪品种介绍与现状研究
Current status of conservation and development and utilization of Rongchang pigs
摘要
Abstract
The seed industry is a strategic and fundamental industry for ensuring agricultural production and food security,and local pig genetic resources are key materials for seed industry innovation.As one of the excellent local pig breeds in China,Rongchang pigs are characterized by early sexual maturity,high-quality meat,and roughage tolerance.Known as"Panda Pigs"due to their resemblance to national treasure pandas,they are deeply loved by consumers.This article introduces the origin and breed traits of Rongchang pigs,focuses on the current status of breed conservation and resource utilization,and deeply analyzes the existing problems in their current development,such as the shrinking market scale caused by the impact of foreign breeds,the threat to germplasm resource security due to the decrease in population size,and the lag in deep processing and brand building.In response to these problems,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward,including continuously exploring the characteristics of germplasm resources and promoting systematic breeding and development and utilization,strengthening the construction of the African swine fever prevention and control system and building a diversified conservation system,and exploring brand value and promoting industrialization and consumption upgrading,aiming to provide references for the sustainable conservation and efficient development and utilization of Rongchang pig breed resources.关键词
