Abstract

Yudiba dam systems are critical engineering structures for the comprehensive control of soil and water loss on the Loess Plateau and play an important role in regulating the flow-sediment relationship of the Yellow River.In the new era characterized by frequent extreme heavy rainfall and changing flow-sediment conditions,the safety guarantee and performance improvement of dam systems are facing severe challenges.Current research on dam systems is evolving from single Yudiba dam engineering to system coordination,from static equilibrium to dynamic equilibrium,and from empirical prevention and control to intelligent"forecasting,early warning,rehearsal,and contingency planning".Focusing on key scientific issues such as the dynamic regulation mechanism of Yudiba dam systems on watershed sediment transport-deposition processes,the risk transmission mechanism between single Yudiba dam equilibrium and dam system group equilibrium,and the dynamic response mechanism of the relative equilibrium between new watershed flow-sediment conditions and dam system interception capacity,as well as key technical problems including the optimal algorithm for interpreting the spatial distribution of Yudiba dam systems and multi-source characteristics of erosion environments,multi-objective intelligent optimal allocation technology for dam systems based on dam system equilibrium theory,and dynamic data engine and data service technology for multi-source heterogeneous spatiotemporal data of dam systems,this paper proposed a research framework and directions for the equilibrium of Yudiba dam systems.It is suggested that in future work,efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of an automatic monitoring system for dam systems,build an integrated and universal management platform for dam system risks,and promote research on the technical system for high-standard construction of dam systems,so as to provide theoretical and technical support for the systematic control of soil and water loss on the Loess Plateau and the ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River basin.
