摘要

Abstract

B3A is a novel rice cytoplasmic male sterile(CMS)line developed by Rice Research Institute of Southwest University of Science and Technology.It was derived from a sexual cross between the two-line sterile line Y58S(female parent)and the three-line maintainer line Guangkang 13B,followed by multiple generations of selection and test-crossing.This sterile line is characterized by good combining ability,medium resistance to rice blast,and high yield.Hybrid rice combinations bred with B3A,namely B You 2928,B3 You Simiao,and B You 33,were successively approved by the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee and Sichuan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee from 2020 to 2023.B You 343 was approved by Sichuan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2025.
