小丑照护干预在老年抑郁症患者中的应用体验及文化适配机制质性研究
Application experience and cultural adaptation mechanisms of localized clown care interventions in geriatric depression:A qualitative study

Abstract
Objective This study aims to explore the real experiences and acceptance mechanisms of geriatric depression participating in clown care interventions,framed within the contexts of cultural adaptation and individual differences.The findings will serve as a foundation for constructing localized and personalized humor care models.Methods A purposive sampling method was adopted to select 12 elderly patients with depression who were hospitalized in Third People's Hospital of Huzhou from March to June 2024,and semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted.Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's seven-step method,integrated with cultural adaptation theory,to facilitate coding,categorization,and theme extraction.Results Three core themes emerged from the analysis:① Multidimensional perceptions of localized clown care(including diverse intervention modalities,interactivity,and cultural familiarity);②Key influencing factors for acceptance(notably variations in cultural adaptation and the moderating effects of gender role perceptions);③ Progressive pathways for physical and mental improvement(pathways observed from depressive emotions to cognitive function,social function,and ultimately to physiological state).Conclusion The findings suggest that localized clown care interventions can significantly alleviate negative emotional states in geriatric depression.The significance of cultural adaptation and gender-sensitive design is underscored as critical components for enhancing the efficacy of such interventions.The Three-Dimensional Localization Adaptation Framework developed in this investigation offers practical guidelines for implementing precise non-pharmacological interventions in the clinical management of geriatric depression.关键词
