The effect of IMB model on rehabilitation outcome of patients with abdominal pedicled flap repair

Abstract
Objective To explore the application value of information-motivation-behavioral(IMB)model nursing in rehabilitation after abdominal pedicled flap repair and its effect on rehabilitation outcome.Methods 60 patients with abdominal pedicle flap repair at Liuzhou Worker's Hospital from July 2021 to December 2023 were randomly divided into control group(routine nursing,n=30)and observation group(IMB model nursing intervention,n=30).The incidence of shoulder dysfunction,wrist range of motion(ROM),hand function and quality of life at 6 months after operation were compared between two groups before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the incidence of shoulder joint dysfunction in observation group(23.33%)was significantly lower than that in control group(76.6%),and the wrist ROM and hand function at 6 months after operation were better than those in control group(P<0.05).The quality of life was also significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion IMB model nursing can effectively prevent shoulder joint dysfunction,promote the recovery of upper limb function,improve the rehabilitation compliance and quality of life of patients,and improve the rehabilitation outcome.The clinical application value is significant.关键词
