Logical Evolution,Practical Dilemmas and Optimization Paths of Vocational Education Textbook Management

Abstract
The management of textbooks for vocational education is directly linked to the quality of textbooks and the effectiveness of talent cultivation.The essence of the logical evolution in textbook management within China's vocational education system represents a dynamic adjustment process concerning the relationship between the government and the market.The management entities have transitioned from centralized leadership by the central government to a hierarchical management structure under national coordination.The scope of management has broadened from solely focusing on textbook development to encompassing the entire lifecycle of textbook construction.The management outcomes have shifted from emphasizing textbook quality to prioritizing practical effectiveness in use,gradually forming a planned management model led by the government with market participation.However,current textbook management still encounters practical dilemmas,such as insufficient authority,weak planning,indistinct vocational characteristics,a low rate of selecting superior textbooks,and suboptimal effectiveness,all of which hinder the high-quality development of the textbook system.To enhance textbook management in vocational education,it is crucial to strengthen top-level design and achieve a synergy between a"proactive government and an effective market";use planned textbooks as a guide to develop high-quality,industry-education integrated textbooks through hierarchical and categorized approaches;establish a quality-centric perspective on textbooks and refine the textbook review mechanism;promote the adoption of high-quality textbooks in classrooms and optimize the textbook selection process;and focus on the educational impact of textbooks and strengthen monitoring of their usage.关键词
