运用随机双盲法研究椎针对急性脑梗死恢复期肌张力及脑血流的影响
A random double-blind study on the effects of vertebro-needle therapy on muscle tone and cerebral blood flow in patients with acute cerebral infarction during the recovery period

Abstract
Background:The vertebro-needle is a new type of needle which is made of the water buffalo horn or other special materials and machined as a whole using the lathe to the required specifications.After polishing,the surface is smooth,free of burrs,and causes no skin damage.It is only clinically used on the human meridians to treat diseases.One end is a rounded hammer head and the other side is a sharp head.The vertebro-needle therapy is a natural therapy that integrates acupressure,acupuncture,massage and scraping.Notably compared with conventional acupuncture,it has the advantages of no pain,no fainting,no risk of broken needles,no cross-infection,no risk of organ damage,and no patient anxietys.Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of vertebro-needle therapy in patients with increased muscle tone during the recovery phase of cerebral infarction by assessing changes in muscle tone and cerebral blood flow velocity,thereby validating the effectiveness of vertebro-needle therapy and providing a non-invasive and painless treatment modality for clinical management of post-cerebral infarction muscle hypertonia.Methods:Sixty eligible clinical cases were randomized into two groups using a double-blind method:the experimental group(n=30)received vertebro-needle combined with acupuncture and rehabilitation training,while the control group(n=30)received acupuncture and rehabilitation training alone.Assessments were conducted at baseline,10 days,and 20 days post-treatment,including ashworth scale grading for muscle tone and barthel index(MBI)scoring.Transcranial doppler(TCD)was utilized to measure changes in peak systolic,end-diastolic,and mean blood flow velocities in the anterior,middle,and posterior cerebral arteries respectively at pre-and post-intervention.Results:Changes in muscle tone:Easy of the two groups showed a significant difference before and after treatment(P<0.05);there was also a significant difference between the groups after treatment(P<0.05).Changes in blood flow velocity:Both groups showed significant changes in blood flow velocity after treatment(P<0.05),and a comprehensive comparison of the changes in blood flow velocity between the two groups showed a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The vertebro-needle therapy demonstrates a favorable clinical effect on increased muscle tone during the recovery period of cerebral infarction,and its efficacy is superior to that of the control group.Compared with the control group,the vertebro-needle therapy can more effectively improve the cerebral blood flow velocity,regulate the contraction and dilation functions of blood vessels,thereby playing a role in unblocking meridians and harmonizing Qi(气)and blood.关键词
