中医药治疗慢性附睾炎的Meta分析
Meta-analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic epididymitis

Abstract
Objective:To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in treating chronic epididymitis,in order to provide more robust evidence and more therapeutic strategies for the clinical applications.Methods:Literature of randomized controlled trials on the clinical efficacy of TCM in treaing chronic epididymitis was retrieved by computer from databases,such as Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database(VIP),China Biomedical Literature Service System(CBM),PubMed,Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and Wanfang Database.The retrieval period was set from January 1,2012 to April 20,2025.The Cochrane risk of bias tool was used to evaluate the methodological quality,and RevMan 5.4 software was used to conduct Meta-analysis of the literature.Results:A total of 19 articles were included,with a total sample size of 1 457,including 741 cases in the treatment group and 716 cases in the control group.Meta-analysis results revealed that the total effective rate in the TCM group was significantly higher than that in the Western medicine group[OR=4.75,95%CI(3.50,6.45),P<0.000 01],and it was also superior to the control group in reducing the total score of the Chronic Epididymitis Symptom Index(CESI)[MD=-3.27,95%CI(-4.41,-2.14),P<0.000 01],VAS score[MD=-1.42,95%CI(-1.63,-1.20),P<0.000 01]and reducing the mass size[MD=-1.12,95%CI(-1.69,-0.55),P<0.000 01].Conclusion:Clinically,TCM in the treatment of chronic epididymitis exerts significant therapeutic effect.It is better than conventional Western medicine treatment alone in improving the total effective rate,reducing the total score of CESI as well as alleviating TCM syndromes.关键词
