摘要

Abstract

Circular RNA(circRNA),a special type of endogenous non-coding RNA molecule,is character-ized by excellent molecular stability and tissue-specific expression and plays a crucial regulatory role in the devel-opment of tumors.N6-methyladenosine(m6A)is the most prevalent epigenetic modification in eukaryotic mR-NA,which plays a pivotal regulatory role in tumor metabolic reprogramming by precisely modulating the expres-sion levels of metabolic-related genes.Metabolic reprogramming,recognized as one of the ten hallmark features of tumors,fundamentally involves abnormal remodeling of critical metabolic pathways such as glycolysis,lipid synthesis,or amino acid metabolism in cells.This process generates substantial energy and substances,driving malignant behaviors in tumor cells,including proliferation,invasion,and metastasis.Current research demon-strates that circRNAs exert multi-level regulatory effects in tumor metabolic reprogramming through various mech-anisms,including self-cyclization mediated by m6A modification,modulation of m6A-modifying enzyme activi-ties,micropeptide encoding,and regulation of downstream molecular networks.This review systematically eluci-dates circRNA from three dimensions:molecular characteristics,regulatory functions of m6A modification,and characteristic alterations in tumor metabolic reprogramming.It focuses on analyzing the molecular mechanisms by which circRNA regulates tumor metabolic reprogramming through m6A modification,providing theoretical founda-tions and strategic guidance for in-depth research in related fields.
