Abstract
Traditional Chinese medicine oncology is an important component of the comprehensive cancer prevention and treatment system in China.It has unique advantages in prolonging cancer patients'survival periods and improving their quality of life.However,the current training of talents in traditional Chinese medicine oncology faces severe challenges:only a few traditional Chinese medicine universities offer relevant courses;the problem of structural shortage of talents is particularly prominent;and there is a lack of comprehensive talents who possess solid traditional Chinese medicine skills and modern oncology knowledge.This consensus was jointly formulated by more than 30 experts from major traditional Chinese medicine universities and medical institutions across the country after repeated discussions and refinements during the"Education and Teaching Summit Forum on the 70th Anniversary of New China's Higher Education in Traditional Chinese Medicine(Phase I)"hosted by Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in January 2026.The consensus clarifies the knowledge structure,core competencies,and professional qualities that traditional Chinese medicine oncology talents should possess,emphasizing the importance of the deep integration of university education and apprenticeship education.To address the training difficulties,it proposes the construction of diversified collaborative education platforms and the exploration of a long-term education model integrating bachelor's,master's,and doctoral programs.In terms of the evaluation system,it advocates taking clinical efficacy as the core,while also considering scientific research innovation and teaching inheritance.At the same time,the consensus points out that artificial intelligence technology can assist in the inheritance of tacit knowledge and large-scale training,and international development requires the construction of an independent academic theoretical system.It calls for inclusion of traditional Chinese medicine oncology in the compulsory courses of universities,systematically improving the educational level of the discipline,and providing high-quality professionals for the construction of Healthy China.关键词
