中频电联合中药治疗结肠癌所致恶性腹水的临床研究
Clinical Research on Medium-Frequency Electricity Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Malignant Ascites Caused by Colon Cancer

Abstract
Objective To explore the safety and efficacy of medium-frequency electricity combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of malignant ascites caused by colon cancer.Methods A total of 72 patients with advanced colon cancer complicated with malignant ascites were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was only given basic treatment,while the treatment group was given medium-frequency electrotherapy on the abdomen and oral administration of Zhushui Sanjie Decoction in addition to the basic treatment.Both groups were observed for 6 weeks.The differences in the maximum depth of ascites,abdominal circumference at the umbilical level,abdominal distension visual analog scale(VAS)score,Karnofsky performance status(KPS)score,and the serum levels of albumin(ALB),prealbumin(PA),CD3+T cells,CD4+T cells,carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199),and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.At the same time,the occurrence of adverse events in both groups was recorded.Results The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group(P＜0.05).After two treatment cycles,the maximum depth of ascites,the abdominal circumference at the level of the umbilicus,the VAS scores,and the levels of CEA,CA199,and CA125 of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05).The KPS score,PA level,CD3+T cells,and CD4+T cells of the treatment group after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(P＜0.05).The KPS score of the control group after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment(P＜0.05),while the levels of ALB and PA,CD3+T cells,and CD4+T cells of the control group showed no significant changes before and after treatment(P＞0.05).After two treatment cycles,the maximum depth of ascites,the abdominal circumference at the level of the umbilicus,and the VAS score of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05),while the KPS score,PA,CD3+T cells,and CD4+T cells of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the levels of ALB,CEA,CA199,and CA125 between the two groups(P＞0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in treatment-related adverse events between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment of abdominal external application with medium-frequency electricity and oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine Zhushui Sanjie Decoction has shown positive effects in improving the clinical symptoms,signs,quality of life,nutrition,and immune indicators of patients with malignant ascites caused by colon cancer,and it is also safe.关键词
