摘要

Abstract

The CRISPR-Cas(Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats-CRISPR associated proteins)system has brought revolutionary advances to many areas of biotechnology.Of all the types of CRISPR-Cas systems,type Ⅲ CRISPR-Cas system are the most complex,therefore may have special uses that cannot be achieved by other types of CRISPR-Cas systems.In this paper,we introduce the characteristics of type Ⅲ CRISPR-Cas system,as well as their special applications in improving genome manipulation,RNA interference,pathogen nucleic acid detection,transcription recording techniques,etc,and discuss the bottlenecks and possible solutions of current type Ⅲ CRISPR-Cas system applications.It provides a theoretical framework and innovative entry point for microbiology,gene editing,immunology and even biotechnology industry.
