摘要

Abstract

In the process of levee breach plugging,the stable falling bottom of the plugging bodies is very important for the plugging of levee breach.However,most of the traditional plugging bodies are only suitable for the breach with low flow velocity,and they are difficult to be applied to the breach with flow velocity exceeding 3.5 m/s.In response to this problem,two novel modular plugging bodies,which are the spherical cone and the mesh cage geobags,are proposed.Firstly,the superiority of the proposed new plugging bodies is validated through a comparative analysis with the traditional plugging bodies based on numerical simulation.Then,the effects of the flow velocity,the size of the plugging bodies and the friction coefficient of the riverbed on the anti-scour stability of the two new plugging bodies are systematically studied.The results show that the horizontal displacement of the spherical cone is smaller than that of other plugging bodies under the same conditions.With the increase of the size of the plugging bodies,the horizontal displacement of the plugging bodies decreases gradually,but when the size reaches a certain value,the influence of the increasing size of the plugging bodies on the horizontal displacement of the plugging bodies decreases significantly.In addition,the increase of the friction coefficient of the riverbed leads to a non-linear increase in the incipient velocity of the plugging bodies,and the maximum incipient velocity of the spherical cone is 6 m/s,which can be applied to the breach plugging with high flow velocity.The research achievements can provide a basis and reference for the material reserve and on-site plugging bodies type selection of levee breach closure.
