三拗汤合止嗽散加味治疗儿童感染后咳嗽的临床研究
Clinical Study on Modified San'ao Decoction Combined with Zhisou Powder in Treatment of Post-Infectious Cough in Children

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Modified San'ao Decoction Combined with Zhisou Powder in the treatment of post-infectious cough(PIC)in children.Methods:From February 2023 to February 2024,120 children with PIC(wind-phlegm lingering in the lung pattern)admitted to Fangshan Hospital,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into a control group(60 cases)and an observation group(60 cases).The control group was treated with montelukast sodium chewable tablets,while the observation group was treated with modified San'ao Decoction combined with Zhisou Powder.Both groups were treated continuously for 10 days.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,cough symptom scores,and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores were observed before treatment on the 5th and 10th day after treatment.Serum levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE),interleukin-8(IL-8),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were measured before and after treatment.During a 30-day follow-up period,the frequency of cough recurrence and respiratory tract infections were recorded,and the occurrence of adverse reactions was documented.Results:Clinical efficacy differed significantly between the two groups(P＜0.05).During the treatment process,TCM syndrome scores,daytime and nighttime cough symptom scores,and VAS scores in both groups on the 5th and 10th days were significantly lower than baseline(P＜0.05),with greater reductions observed on the 10th day compared to the 5th day(P＜0.05).After treatment,serum levels of IgE,IL-8,and TNF-α were significantly decreased in both groups(P＜0.05).The observation group showed significantly greater improvements in all indicators at the above time points than that in the control group(P＜0.05).During the 30-day follow-up period,no statistically significant differences were found between the two groups in cough recurrence rate,frequency of respiratory tract infections,or overall incidence of adverse reactions(P＞0.05 for all).Conclusion:Modified San'ao Decoction combined with Zhisou Powder can improve clinical symptoms in PIC children by regulating the body's immune-inflammatory response and alleviating airway inflammation,demonstrating a definite therapeutic effect.关键词
