The Marriage and Love Lives of Literati in the Tang Dynasty as Evidenced by Tang and the Five Dynasties Anecdotal Records
摘要
Abstract
Tang and the Five Dynasties anecdotal records document all aspects of the lives of literati during that era.Among these,their mar-riage and love lives constitute a significant part.These records reflect various aspects,including the relationship between the marriages of scholars and the imperial examinations,scholars'yearning for beautiful women,the dynamics between scholars and jealous wives,as well as the romantic lives of scholars outside of marriage.These not only mirror the cultural psyche of Tang scholars but also showcase the cultural patterns of the people of the Tang Dynasty.To a certain extent,Tang and the Five Dynasties anecdotal records serve as a valuable window into the lives of Tang Dynasty literati.关键词
