东北解放区话剧"大众化"生成机制与主题演变考察
On the Formation Mechanism and Thematic Evolution of the"Popularization"of Modern Drama in the Northeast Liberated Areas

Abstract
The modern drama in the Northeast Liberated Areas inherited the long-standing tradition of emerging modern drama in participating in social improvement,enlightenment,transformation,and national survival.It carried forward the spirit of Talks at the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art and held profound significance in engaging with social and historical changes and pursuing the development of popularization.The theatrical activities during the Puppet Manchukuo period served as the precontext for the modern drama in the Northeast Liberated Areas.The relocation of the Lu Xun Academy of Arts to Northeast China injected new vitality and spiritual motivation into the region's modern drama,promoting its development.This expanded the audience of modern drama—previously centered on intellectuals and urban residents since the May Fourth Movement—to include the broad masses of peasants and workers,thereby constructing a new aesthetic of popular theater.Drama creation closely followed the social changes in Northeast China,primarily focusing on rural and urban themes.Rural-themed plays depicted the historical process of Northeast China's countryside from the Puppet Manchukuo period to the full liberation of the region.Urban-themed dramas included works about urban poor and workers,with the latter achieving remarkable accomplishments and highlighting the spiritual outlook of workers under the new regime.关键词
