摘要
Abstract
Hepatocellular Carcinoma(HCC)ranks as the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally.The low sensitiv-ity and specificity of traditional biomarkers and imaging techniques,as well as the difficulty in early diagnosis,are major factors contributing to its high incidence and mortality.Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,causing abnormal gene methylation and epi-genetic alterations,is one of the risk factors for HCC.The reversible methylation characteristic offers new insights and perspec-tives for exploring new biomarkers,with the potential to increase early diagnosis rates and improve the treatment outcomes for HCC.In recent years,traditional Chinese medicine has played an important role in the prevention and treatment of HCC due to its unique advantages of low side effects and few adverse reactions.Studies have discovered a variety of traditional Chinese med-icine formulations targeting methylation that have been applied in clinical treatment.This review aims to summarize the latest re-search progress on the methylation mechanisms of HBV-associated HCC and the findings of traditional Chinese medicine-based anti-cancer treatments targeting methylated genes,with the expectation of discovering new markers and therapeutic approaches to improve the early diagnosis rate and survival rate of HCC.关键词
