Abstract
According to continuous increase in pet numbers and improvement of their status in the family,nutritional elements have played an important role in pet health and longevity,but are also clearly related to the life quality of pets and choices of owners regarding pet food.In recent years,the focus of pet nutri-tion research has evolved from ensuring basic dietary requirements toward developing functional and precision-based nutritional approaches,involving immune regulation,gut microbiome,obesity manage-ment,and personalized nutrition.This review aimed to systematically summarize the latest research advances of pet nutrition,analyze current hot topics,outline the development trends of functional nutrition and precision nutrition,and explore future challenges and opportunities.The objective was to provide a ref-erence for both fundamental research and industrial applications in pet nutrition,and contributed to the continued innovation and advancement in this field.关键词
