Research on Technology of Integrating CTCS-3 Train Control Onboard Equipment with C0 Function

Abstract
[Objective]The current CTCS-3 train control onboard equipment lacks a backup train monitoring device(LKJ)function,resulting in insufficient train control data when electric multiple unit(EMU)trains operate on conventional-speed lines,thereby making EMU trains unable to operate at a relatively higher speed on CTCS-0 lines.[Methods]Based on an in-depth study of existing technologies,a scheme integrating CTCS-3 train control onboard equipment with LKJ was proposed to overcome the limitations encountered by EMU trains during cross-line operation.A miniaturized and integrated cabinet was developed to improve equipment utilization by sharing resources with other devices.Firstly,according to the practical requirements of cross-line operation,the technical scheme for integrating CTCS-3 train control onboard equipment with C0 function was discussed in detail,and comparative analyses were conducted from the perspectives of multiple installation space options,technical development,and safety.Secondly,the overall integration scheme was designed,and the key technologies involved were analyzed in depth,including train onboard equipment,the secure transmission mechanism between the automatic train protection(ATP)and the C0 module,the DMI integration design,and the smoothness of level transition.These technologies are essential to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the integration scheme.Finally,to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme,a laboratory test platform for ATP onboard equipment integrated with C0 function was set up,and detailed verification and testing of the proposed scheme were carried out.[Results]The results showed that the scheme of integrating CTCS-3 train control onboard equipment with C0 function was feasible.The communication safety met the SIL4 requirements,and the normal handover design could be achieved.[Conclusion]This scheme enables EMU trains to realize high-speed cross-line operation between high-speed railway lines and conventional-speed lines,make full use of line resources,and ensure train operation safety,showing practical application value.关键词
