Uniform Cluster Head Routing Algorithm for High-Speed Railways under Three-Line Deployment Scheme

Abstract
[Objective]In response to the energy hole problem in wireless sensor networks for high-speed railways,a particle swarm optimization-based uniform cluster head routing protocol for wireless sensor networks along high-speed railway lines was proposed.[Methods]Cluster heads were elected in a partitioned manner using the particle swarm optimization algorithm,achieving uniform distribution of cluster head nodes and improving network lifetime and node survival rate.Additionally,an innovative node deployment strategy was proposed,namely a three-line deployment scheme with uniform energy consumption for wireless sensor networks along high-speed railway lines.This scheme expanded the coverage of sensor nodes and enhanced the energy level of the entire network.[Results]MATLAB simulations showed that,compared with other routing protocols under the traditional bilateral deployment scheme of wireless sensor networks along railway lines,the uniform cluster head routing algorithm for high-speed railway wireless sensor networks under the three-line deployment scheme increased the network scale by 150%,increased the initial energy by 1.5 times,improved the node survival rate by 36.84%,and extended the network lifetime by three times,significantly improving network performance and reliability.[Conclusion]The research findings provide a reference for effectively addressing in the energy hole problems in high-speed railway WSN.关键词
