Kinematic simulation of spring actuator mechanism of high-voltage circuit breaker under typical fault conditions

Abstract
The high-voltage circuit breaker is one of the most crucial control and protection devices in the power system.The response performance of the circuit breaker is closely related to the reliability of the operating mechanism.For the CT spring operating mechanism,the three-dimensional modelling and dy-namic simulation of the CT spring operating mechanism were studied using virtual prototype technology.The simulation model of the operating mechanism was constructed through the simulation software,and reasonable simulation parameters and boundary conditions were established,with the model simplified as necessary to enhance calculation efficiency,resulting in the derivation of the construction motion law un-der normal working conditions.Based on various fault conditions that may arise in the service state of the spring operating mechanism,a kinematic simulation model under typical faults of the operating mecha-nism was established,examining the kinematic characteristics of the operating mechanism during the o-pening and closing process and the impact of different fault types on the performance of the operating mechanism.This study conducted kinematic simulation analysis of the closing and opening processes un-der normal operating conditions and several common fault states of the CT-type spring operating mecha-nism.The research finds that when the closing spring undergoes a stress relaxation of 1.5 cm,the time for the closing acceleration phase increases by a factor of 4.78.Additionally,when the opening spring ex-periences a stress relaxation of 2 cm,the peak acceleration decreases by 32.3%,leading to a delay in the time for the opening link to reach its maximum displacement.The impact of the drum jamming fault on the cam speed and peak acceleration is significant,with the effect reaching up to 8.4%.The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for the design optimization and fault diagnosis of spring operating mech-anisms and contribute to the operational stability and reliability of high-voltage circuit breakers.关键词
