Abstract

[Objective]The paper aimed to explore the mainstream heterozygous models in the middle and high-altitude maize production are-as in southwest China at present.[Method]31 inbred lines in this area were taken as the research materials,and the genetic diversity analy-sis was conducted by combining phenotypic clustering and molecular clustering methods.[Result]The coefficient of variation of their genetic similarity coefficient among 31 maize inbred lines was 11.96%-61.98%for the main agronomic trait variation coefficient,and cluster anal-ysis divided them into 5 groups.A total of 146 number of alleles were detected by 40 pairs of SSR core primers,with 2-10 number of alleles detected by each primer pair,and an average of 3.65 number of alleles detected by each primer pair;the gene diversity index ranged from 0.2066 to 0.8637,with an average of 0.5748;the number of effective alleles ranged from 1.3687 to 7.6115,with an average of 2.8575;the Shannon index varied from 0.4913 to 2.1476,with an average of 1.0574;and the polymorphism information content(Polymorphic informa-tion content,PIC)ranged from 0.1963 to 0.8490,with an average PIC of 0.5183.UPGMA clustering method was used to divide 31 maize in-bred lines into 8 groups:Tuxpeno,Brazilian germplasm,Luda Honggu,Lancaster,Mo Bai 1,Suwan,Reid and Tang Sipingtou.[Conclusion]The study effectively classified the tested materials by using both phenotypic and molecular clustering methods.The 31 maize inbred lines were successfully divided into eight groups:Tuxpeno,Brazilian germplasm,Luda Honggu,Lancaster,Mo Bai 1,Suwan,Reid and Tang Sipingtou.The population classification was basically consistent with the pedigree.
