Research Progress on the Application of Plant Flavonoids in Ruminant Production
摘要
Abstract
Plant flavonoids are a class of polyphenolic secondary metabolites widely present in plants,including several subclasses such as flavanones,flavonols,isoflavones,flavanols,and anthocyanins.These compounds exhibit significant biological activities,including antibacterial,antiviral,antioxidant,and immunomodulatory effects,and can also improve the quality of animal products.In recent years,plant flavonoids have received widespread attention in the field of ruminant nutrition.Research has shown that they have significant potential applications in improving rumen fermentation,enhancing immune function,and improving production performance.This review summarizes the sources,biological functions,and research progress on the application of plant flavonoids in ruminant production,providing an important theoretical basis for their precise utilization in ruminant production.关键词
