蓝色碳汇关注度对绿色发展的驱动机制与异质性分析
Driving mechanism and heterogeneity analysis of blue carbon sink attention on green development:a case study of China's coastal cities

Abstract
Focusing on blue carbon sinks and protecting marine biodiversity contribute to strengthening the ecological barrier for the green development of coastal cities.This study uses a sample of 53 prefecture level and above coastal cities in China from 2011 to 2022,employing text analysis and the entropy method to systematically analyze the impact,mechanisms,and heterogeneity effects of attention to blue carbon sinks on the green development of coastal cities.The findings are as follows.(1)Increasing attention to blue carbon sinks promotes the green development of coastal cities.(2)Mechanism tests show that increasing attention to blue carbon sinks helps mobilize government and societal efforts to protect marine biodiversity,solidifying the social foundation for ecosystem health,thereby promoting green development in coastal cities.It also helps establish a technology-driven approach for sustainable development,stimulates green technological innovation,and strengthens government management by enhancing policy support for marine ecological protection,thus providing strong institutional support for the green development of coastal cities.(3)Given the significant differences in policy support,implementation strength,and economic structure among coastal cities of China,this study further explores the heterogeneous effects of attention to blue carbon sinks on the green development of different types of coastal cities.The results indicate that,within the 53 coastal cities sampled from 2011 to 2022,attention to blue carbon sinks has a significant positive effect on the green development of prefecture level coastal cities with a permanent population exceeding one million.Moreover,the positive impact is more significant in southern coastal cities compared to northern ones.关键词
