Research Progress on Plant Immune Elicitors

Abstract
Plant immune elicitors represent a novel class of biopesticides that enhance plant resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses by activating the plant's innate immune system and regulating its metabolic functions.Compared to traditional chemical pesticides,they offer significant advantages in reducing pesticide residues,protecting the ecological environment,and ensuring food safety,thereby playing a crucial role in advancing sustainable agricultural development.Plant immune elicitors are primarily categorized into three types:immune-inducing proteins,oligosaccharides,and immune-activating small molecules,each category exhibits diverse sources and distinct mechanisms of action,achieving large-scale application in crop disease control,alleviation of abiotic stresses,and improvements in yield and quality.This paper systematically reviews the sources and characteristics of plant immune elicitors,their applications in agricultural settings,and preparation processes.Furthermore,it analyses current challenges in research and application while outlining future development directions.关键词
