Study on Droplet Stability in Microchannels under Lateral Rolling Conditions
摘要
Abstract
To reveal the influence of offshore oscillation conditions on the stability of liquid droplets in microchannels, experimental and numerical simulation methods are combined to study the motion behavior of water and mass fraction of 50%propylene glycol solution droplets under rolling conditions in this paper. The experimental and simulation results indicate that Bracke dynamic contact angle model effectively simulates the movement of droplets inside the tube, with an average deviation of approximately 9%between the simulated and experimental droplet displacement results.Additionally, the maximum displacement of liquid droplets in microchannels is significantly greater under larger rolling periods and amplitudes. The fluctuation amplitude of propylene glycol solution droplets in microchannels is smaller and achieves stability more readily compared to water droplets.Furthermore, when the droplet velocity is below 14.2 mm/s,the applicability of the dynamic contact angle model is relatively good.关键词
