Study on the linguistic features of news headlines on university Wechat official accounts:a case study of the wechat official account of University B
摘要
Abstract
In the era of new media,the ways in which people obtain news have become increasingly diverse.The Wechat official accounts of universities,as mobile communication platforms for disseminating important information such as campus news,research achievements,and admission announcements,directly influence the breadth of universities’communication in the internet sphere and their social reputation.As the"face"of news,the headline creates the first impression that attracts readers and may even determine the number of views a news item receives.Taking the news headlines of the wechat official account of University B as an example,this paper explores the advantages and characteristics that attract readers from the perspectives of sentence structure,vocabulary usage,and rhetorical devices.It also analyzes the limitations and shortcomings of such headlines,with the aim of providing references for the creation and optimization of news headlines on Wechat official accounts.关键词
