Ecological Civilization Construction,Forestry Carbon Sink Projects under CCER,and Green Transformation

Abstract
The development of forestry carbon sinkprojects under the China Certified Emission Reduction(CCER)program is an important measure for China to advance ecological civilization and promote the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.This study employs policy text analysis and inductive review methods to examine the progress of ecological civilization and the evolution of China's carbon market.It further clarifies the role and challenges of forestry carbon sink projects under CCER in the voluntary carbon market,and explores their function in promoting green transformation.The findings show that from the 18th to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,translating the concept of ecological civilization into green practice has become a major strategic task.It is imperative to enhance the carbon sink contribution of non-regulated sectors such as forestry.In addition,China's carbon market has evolved into a system combining mandatory and voluntary mechanisms,providing a practical path for green and low-carbon transformation.The national carbon emissions trading(CET)market supports emission reductions in key industries,while the CCER market contributes to enhancing carbon sink capacity.Moreover,forestry carbon sink projects under CCER can facilitate green transformation in development modes,industrial structures,and lifestyles by advancing the realization of carbon sink value,optimizing industrial structures,and encouraging broad social participation in low-carbon activities.In the future,efforts should be made to promote the sound and sustainable development of the CCER market,improve the scientific and stable operation of the projects,and provide sustained support for the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.关键词
