摘要

Abstract

Marine bioactive substances,characterized by novel structures,diverse chemical scaffolds,and significant biological activities,have become an important resource in anticancer drug research.Tumor initiation and progression in-volve multiple key processes,including abnormal cell proliferation,dysregulation of programmed cell death,development of drug resistance,invasion and metastasis,and remodeling of the tumor microenvironment.This article reviews the re-search progress of marine bioactive substances in cancer therapy,with a focus on their roles and underlying mechanisms in inducing tumor cell apoptosis,ferroptosis,and autophagy,reversing tumor drug resistance,inhibiting invasion and metas-tasis,and regulating the tumor microenvironment.Their potential in combination therapy and clinical translation is also discussed.Current studies indicate that these bioactive substances can interfere with tumor progression through multiple targets and pathways,showing considerable potential in improving therapeutic sensitivity,enhancing antitumor efficacy,and improving prognosis.Future research should further strengthen investigations into their mechanisms of action,phar-macodynamic evaluation,safety,and clinical application,so as to promote the development and application of marine bio-active substances in cancer prevention and treatment.
