清代百苗图中的女性角色张力与社会文化内涵
Power Shaping and Ethnic Imagination:The Role Tension and Socio-Cultural Implications of Female Figures in the Qing Dynasty's The Hundred Miao Pictures

Abstract
Taking the Qing Miao Tu Shuo(An Illustrated Account of the Miao)in the collection of the Guizhou Provincial Museum as the core text,and incorporating multiple overseas collections of illustrated manuscripts of the Hundred Miao Albums,this study systematically examines the social roles of women from various ethnic groups in the Guizhou region during the Qing dynasty.The aim is to reveal the under-lying socio-cultural values and the logic of power discourse.Women acting as political agents used the re-finement of their attire to highlight the distinguishing function of political hierarchy,serving as a visual embodiment of the Qing dynasty's principle of "governing according to native customs".Women engaged in economic production activities deconstructed the gender-based division of labor—"men plow,women weave"—prescribed by patriarchal rule through their diverse forms of production,forming a dynamic ten-sion with familial discipline under the patriarchal order.The cultural symbols generated by women in their various roles not only emphasized inter-ethnic distinctions but also collectively contributed to the rich and colorful ethnic tapestry of the Guizhou region.关键词
