摘要

Abstract

In order to enhance the electrochemical performance and storage stability of alkaline zinc-manganese(Zn/MnO2)batteries,the ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid(EDTMP)is used as electrolyte additive.With an EDTMP addition of 0.025%,the internal resistance of the LR6 battery is reduced from 76 mΩ in the control group to 70 mΩ.In a 3.9 Ω constant-resistance continuous discharge condition maintains until 0.9 V,the discharge time exhibits an increase from 331.4 min in the control group to 351.8 min.Following a 14 d storage period at 60℃,the EDTMP-modified battery exhibits an internal resistance increase of 200%,in comparison to the control group's 514%.Concurrently,the gas evolution volume diminishes from 0.52 mL to 0.34 mL.The EDTMP-modified battery also exhibits superior performance under other national standard discharge modes.EDTMP can improve the stability of the electrode interface by forming a coordinated protective film through preferential adsorption on the zinc surface.In addition,by participating in the solvation structure,the hydrogen bond in the water molecule is destroyed,the free water contact with the zinc electrode is blocked,the hydrogen evolution corrosion is inhibited.
