Abstract
Thick-walled 316L stainless steel components fabricated by wire and arc additive manufacturing(WAAM)un-dergo complex thermal cycles during deposition,which tend to cause microstructural inhomogeneity and residual stress.Post-weld heat treatment is an important approach to improving their overall performance.In this study,316L stainless steel thick-walled components were fabricated by pulsed-current WAAM and subjected to heat treatments at 800℃,1 000℃,and 1 100℃,respectively,to investigate the effect of heat treatment temperature on the as-deposited components.The re-sults show that after heat treatment at 800℃,the microstructure still consists of austenite and a small amount of ferrite,the hardness decreases slightly,and the self-corrosion current density drops to 63%-99%of the as-deposited value,indicating improved corrosion resistance.After heat treatment at 1 000℃,dendritic coarsening becomes significant,the hardness de-creases more markedly,and the self-corrosion current density increases to 104%-169%of the original value,indicating re-duced corrosion resistance.After heat treatment at 1 100℃,ferrite is almost completely dissolved into austenite,the hard-ness decreases significantly,and the self-corrosion current density increases to 122%-265%of the original value,indicating a drastic decline in corrosion resistance.关键词
