Abstract
In order to improve the curing quality of upper tobacco leaves,Yunyan 87 was taken as the test material.Based on the appearance maturity of tobacco leaves,they were divided into three grades:relatively immature(M1),normally mature(M2),and relatively overmature(M3).The curing experiments were carried out in combination with different loading positions in the bulk curing barn,and the quality and economic benefits of the cured leaves were compre-hensively evaluated.The results showed that the M2 treatment exhibited the best overall quality.Although the loading position had a limited effect on the quality of tobacco leaves,when placed in the lower layer,the chemical components were more harmonious,and it achieved the highest total sensory evaluation score and economic benefit;the upper-layer loading could improve its appearance quality.For the M1 treatment,the upper-layer loading resulted in the best overall quality,significantly increasing the potassium-to-chloride ratio and sensory evaluation score.For the M3 treatment,the lower-layer loading showed the best comprehensive quality,which was significantly better than that of the middle and upper-layer loading tobacco in the total score of sensory smoking quality,appearance quality(color and chro-ma),and average price.The research results could provide a reference scheme for the precise curing of upper tobacco leaves.关键词
