Abstract
With the evolution of minimally invasive surgical techniques,single-incision laparoscopic left lateral hepatectomy(SLLLH)has emerged as a promising approach for resecting lesions in the left lateral liver lobe. This advanced technique offers poten-tial benefits including reduced surgical trauma, diminished postoperative pain, and superior cosmetic outcomes due to a concealed um-bilical incision. However, the adoption of SLLLH in China has been hindered by the absence of standardized protocols and procedural guidelines, leading to variability in practice and raising concerns about its safe and consistent application. To address this gap and pro-mote the standardized implementation of SLLLH,the Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Associa-tion convened a panel of experts in 2026.This panel has developed the present consensus document, grounded in a thorough review of existing clinical evidence and supplemented by collective expert experience. The primary aim is to establish evidence-based clinical guidance and operational standards. The consensus systematically addresses the definition, advantages, indications and contraindications, preoperative assessment, surgical team requirements, patient positioning and incision selection, surgical instruments, procedural steps, and management of complications related to SLLLH.This expert consensus serves as a foundational guide for the standardized practice of SLLLH in China.By establishing clear protocols,it seeks to facilitate the safe, effective, and widespread adoption of this technique,ulti-mately aiming to improve surgical outcomes and patient care in the field of minimally invasive liver surgery.关键词
