Abstract
In order to meet the needs of large-size vessels in the international shipping market,the construction of deep-water channels and large-scale supporting facilities was speeding up in many harbors,the specialized terminals focused on the improvement of port core competitiveness and integral service capacities.However,the deep-water channels were characterized with long distance,large scale and siltation,which resulted in great amount of work,so it was necessary to reduce the investment through the design optimization.By studying the channel project for ships up to 200 000 tons at comprehensive harbor of Huanghua Port and the channel project for ships up to 300 000 tons in Tongzhou Bay operation zone of Nantong Port,the key factors were analyzed,including the selection of navigable water level and datum level,the design of segmental tide-riding and main size of channels,and the calculation of siltation during the construction period.The design ideas and options could serve as a reference for similar projects.关键词
