红花化瘀汤熏洗联合踝上截骨术治疗踝关节骨关节炎临床研究
Clinical study on the treatment of ankle osteoarthritis with Honghua Huayu Decoction fumigation and washing combined with supramalleolar osteotomy

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Honghua Huayu Decoction fumigation and washing combined with supramalleolar osteotomy(SMOT)in the treatment of ankle osteoarthritis(OA).Methods A total of 64 patients with ankle OA who underwent SMOT in the Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated TCM-WM·Hebei from January 2018 to January 2023 were enrolled and randomly assigned to two groups using a random number table.The treatment group included 32 patients,of whom 2 withdrew later;the control group included 32 patients,of whom 3 withdrew later.The control group received SMOT alone,while the treatment group received Honghua Huayu Decoction fumigation and washing beginning in the second postoperative month,after the incision on the affected limb had healed well and sutures were removed routinely.The following indi-cators were compared between the two groups:tibial articular sur-face angle in the anteroposterior view(TAS),tibial articular sur-face angle in the lateral view(TLS),talar tilt(TT),visual analogue scale(VAS)score for ankle pain,and the American Or-thopaedic Foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS)ankle-hindfoot score.Results At 6 months after surgery,TAS and TLS increased in both groups compared with preoperative values(P<0.05),while TT decreased compared with preoperative values(P<0.05);however,there were no statistically significant differences in TAS,TLS,or TT between the treatment and control groups at 6 months after surgery(P>0.05).At 2,3,6,and 12 months after surgery,VAS scores for ankle pain showed a downward trend over time in both groups(P<0.05).In addition,at 2 and 3 months after surgery,VAS scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 3,6,and 12 months after surgery,AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scores increased over time in both groups(P<0.05).At 3 months after surgery,the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Honghua Huayu Decoction fumigation and washing can effectively relieve postop-erative pain after SMOT in patients with ankle OA,improve ankle function,and accelerate postoperative functional recovery.关键词
